About This Role

Diagnose, repair, and maintain domestic make and model vehicles, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards for performance, safety, and reliability. This role requires advanced diagnostic capability and a commitment to high-quality, accurate repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Domestic makes and models
• Proficiently diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using diagnostic tools
• Perform a variety of mechanical repairs and services, including parts removal and reinstallation
• Perform thorough inspections on vehicles to assess service and repair needs
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturer bulletins, recalls, and updates
• Document diagnostics, repairs, parts used, and recommendations clearly and accurately
• Perform quality-control checks to ensure repairs meet OEM standards
• Uphold shop standards for cleanliness, organization, and workflow efficiency

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of automotive systems and operations
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues using diagnostic tools
• Skilled in performing a variety of mechanical repairs and services
• Ability to perform thorough inspections on vehicles
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency in using computers and diagnostic tools
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs without assistance
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 60 minutes at a time)
• Basic math and counting skills
• Proficient in performing both fine and major motor skills to complete repairs
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience working as an automotive technician
• Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Clean driving record
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning
