Audit Manager

About This Role

Lead full-cycle audit engagements with autonomy for a well-respected CPA firm in East Texas. Guide and mentor a strong team, partnering directly with clients who value insight and relationship.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle audit engagements across a diverse client base
• Coach,mentor, and develop seniors and staff with clear growth pathways
• Set and uphold high standards in planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key client relationships
• Review complex workpapers and provide insight, not just edits
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and add value beyond the audit by providing consulting services around buy-sell transactions, M&A activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of public accounting experience with a strong audit focus
• Proven supervisory or management experience
• Active CPA license
• Ability to balance leadership, client communication, and technical excellence
• A present, engaged leader who enjoys developing people
