The Attorney: Property Casualty/1st Party Property will serve as an all-star property casualty litigator, assisting with a vibrant and growing practice. This role involves managing cases in state and federal courts, overseeing discovery processes, conducting depositions, and preparing for trials.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases in state and federal courts
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Manage discovery processes
- Take and defend depositions
- Write petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs with little supervision
- Prepare for trial
Requirements
- 3+ years of Property Casualty, 1st Party Property, or Civil Litigation experience
- Experience managing cases in state and federal courts
- Experience supervising/mentoring staff
- Experience managing discovery
- Experience taking/defending depositions
- Experience writing petitions, complaints, motions and briefs with little supervision
- Experience preparing for trial
- Admitted to practice in the State of Iowa
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Property Casualty, 1st Party Property, or Civil Litigation experience
