About This Role

Represent clients in personal injury litigation from intake to resolution, managing multiple cases and providing excellent client service. This role involves drafting legal documents, analyzing medical records, communicating with clients, and participating in depositions, mediations, and hearings.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation, from intake to resolution
• Draft and review pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery responses
• Direct and monitor the probate process in coordination with docket managers
• Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and case-related documentation
• Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, explain processes, and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
• Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other law firms involved in litigation
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed
• Contribute to process improvements by following and refining documented procedures
• Provide assistance with overflow tasks and special projects as required

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Active Tennessee State Bar membership
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or probate
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

Qualifications

• Mass tort or probate experience
• Proven ability to handle depositions, hearings, and mediations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
