Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care to a variety of animals
• Diagnose and treat illnesses
• Perform surgeries
• Conduct routine check-ups
• Educate and advise pet owners
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of care

Requirements

• Proficient in diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal medical conditions
• Competent in performing various surgical procedures and assessing surgical risks
• Knowledgeable in animal preventative care, vaccinations, and nutrition
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and collaborate with a team
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of Georgia
