Associate Manufacturing Technician - Final Assembly (Wiring)

About This Role

Perform manufacturing tasks for final assembly, focusing on wiring and component installation, to meet quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks such as loading/unloading machinery and operating non-CNC equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble parts, position, align, and fasten assemblies using hand and power tools.
• Measure and adjust parts using scales, calipers, and micrometers.
• Inspect, verify, and document quality criteria to ensure units meet specifications.
• Connect, crimp, solder, and braze internal leads and product wiring according to specifications.
• Perform basic electrical tests to confirm proper wiring and insulation.
• Follow prints, bills of material, specifications, and work instructions for processing, assembly, and installation.
• Operate equipment to perform vacuuming, oil filling, and recovery correctly and safely.
• Safely move, handle, and store materials without damage.
• Follow and comply with standard work procedures and safety rules.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Intermediate mechanical/technical skills
• Experience using various hand and power tools
• Basic math and geometry skills
• Basic computer skills with emphasis on MS Office products
• Basic knowledge and use of simple industrial measuring tools

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Less than two years of training and/or experience, or equivalent education and experience.
