Associate Director - Data Management Operations - Solid Tumor or Hematology

About This Role

This role is an Associate Director responsible for driving data operations and ensuring high-quality data delivery for AbbVie's clinical trial portfolio, specifically within solid tumor or hematology therapeutic areas. The position leads strategy, coordinates technology and processes, and influences cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating TA/program strategy and execute tactically
• Support interoperability across internal Clinical Data Strategy & Operations (CDSO) functions and with cross-functional stakeholders
• Break down barriers and provide an integrated, holistic view to stakeholders
• Link needs to strategy
• Facilitate the creation and convergence of technologies used for clinical trial planning and oversight
• Build and lead high-performing teams focused on speed, quality, and agility
• Form value-add, collaborative relationships with service providers
• Sponsor continuous improvement
• Coach as a core competency
• Guide partner organizations through change management

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in program strategy development and data collection/management execution
• Experience in solid tumor or hematology therapeutic area
• Leadership experience

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or comparable experience
• 10+ years of experience in program strategy development and in converting strategy to execution of data collection and management

Nice to Have

• Masters degree
• Degree in health, life science, mathematics, management information systems, business, or data analytics
