About This Role

Lead and oversee daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and employee development in a retail environment. Assist the Store Leader in implementing merchandising, marketing, and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees alongside the Store Leader
  • Maintain high employee retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity
  • Assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures to ensure the store is presentable and all products are in-stock
  • Perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching
  • Strength in maintaining high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity
  • Ability to assist in implementing all merchandising and marketing programs
  • Competency in cash handling, fuel transactions, and promoting loyalty programs
  • Demonstrated ability maintaining a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication and intrapersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

  • A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates that have at least one year of Retail Management experience.
  • At least one year of Retail Management experience, or previous supervisory experience if not possessing a High School diploma/GED.
