This role involves collaborating with the Head Coach of a UPSL semi-pro team to develop and implement training programs, conduct practice sessions, and strategize game plans. The coach will also provide mentorship, ensure adherence to policies, and foster a positive team culture.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Head Coach to develop and implement training programs
- Conduct practice sessions
- Strategize game plans
- Provide mentorship and support to athletes
- Ensure adherence to program policies
- Assist in fostering a positive and inclusive team culture
- Maintain equipment
- Coordinate team logistics
- Support athletes’ personal development
Requirements
- Proficiency in Soccer Coaching and Football strategies and techniques
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience or knowledge in Coaching and Education
- Passion for mentoring and promoting a collaborative, inclusive team environment
Nice to Have
- Relevant coaching certification or licensure
- Previous experience coaching in a similar role at the high school or collegiate level
