This role supports the Buyer in all aspects of merchandise procurement for a retail fashion company. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, sourcing and negotiating with vendors, coordinating product distribution, and managing vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Buyer in analyzing market trends to identify and develop new brands that drive maximum sales
- Support Buyer in sourcing and contacting appropriate vendors for merchandise
- Negotiate terms to secure optimal deals with vendors
- Help coordinate proper store-level distribution of all products and merchandising concepts under Buyer's direction
- Assist Buyer with vendor relationship management and contract administration
- Travel regularly to stores with Buyer to connect with teams
Requirements
- Bilingual fluency in English and Korean
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Qualifications
- 1-2 years Retail Buying/merchandising Experience Preferred

- 1-2 Years Retail Buying/merchandising Experience
- Passion for urban fashion and streetwear trends
