Lead the Assembly, Test, & Launch Operations (ATLO) IPT for satellite systems, ensuring technical, cost, and schedule execution for integration and testing functions. Manage external stakeholder engagement and oversee the creation of ATLO deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for technical, cost and schedule execution of the program’s ATLO IPT
- Ensure all IPT work products are produced in accordance with the project plan to satisfy customer requirements
- Define IMS tasks required to complete IPT scope of work to achieve program milestones
- Control account manager for assigned control accounts
- Accountable for execution of program Assembly & Integration, Satellite Test, Ground Test, MGSE, EGSE, & Launch Operations
- Responsible for external stakeholder engagement for IPT’s scope of work, collaborating with customers, subcontractors and mission partners
- Spearhead the creation and/or peer review of ATLO IPT deliverables including Test Plans, Test Flows, Test Procedures, Test Configurations, MGSE/EGSE Drawings & Manuals, Anomaly Documentation, Test Reports, and Test Status
- Ensure the execution of program test and troubleshoot complex electronics systems from component to system functionality level
- Contribute to conduct of program design and readiness reviews
- Support internal development and new business opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 7+ years progressive engineering experience (minimum with PhD)
- Knowledge of satellite environmental testing (MIL-STD-810, SMC-S-016, GEVS)
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work extended hours or weekends during SV test events
- Active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Security Clearance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline
- 12+ years with Bachelor's, 10+ years with Master's, or 7+ years with PhD in progressive engineering experience. Equivalent engineering experience considered.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Cameo or Magic Draw
- Familiarity with DOORS
- Familiarity with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)
