Assembler - Fused, 3rd Shift

About This Role

This role involves preparing, building, and inspecting standard multi and multi/multi assemblies with precision. The assembler will also maintain workstations, perform routine operations and repairs, and contribute to meeting utilization targets while observing safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare builds and inspect standard multi and multi/multi assemblies
• Prepare workstation, fixtures and tooling
• Obtain boxes of fibers, channels, and move completed assemblies to staging area
• Perform routine types of basic and routine multi, multi-multi operations
• Perform visual inspection of each fiber and of assemblies in process
• Perform routine repair operations
• Perform ultrasonic cleaning functions
• Meet utilization targets and standard times
• Accurately enter Database/SAP transactions in the computer
• Maintain daily records, including labor sheets and routers
• Observe and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety rules and procedures

• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Good manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
