Armed Security Guard

About This Role

The Armed Security Guard will be responsible for providing security, access control, roving patrols, surveillance, and overall safeguarding of a United States Army installation and its tenants at Camp Bondsteel in Kosovo.

Responsibilities

• Provide security for the installation and its tenants
• Conduct installation access control
• Perform roving patrols
• Engage in surveillance and monitoring activities
• Safeguard the overall installation and its tenants

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• DD214 (if U.S. military experience is referenced) within the last 10 years
• Current/active U.S. Passport
• Clean criminal history with no convictions or major traffic offenses
• Experience and knowledge of security operations
• Experience with basic force protection
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Medically fit and able to pass medical testing
• Ability to pass a Physical Ability Test (1.5 miles in 17:30 minutes, 21 pushups in two minutes)
• Willingness to undergo random drug testing
• Ability to work different schedules and additional hours beyond scheduled time

Qualifications

• Completion of a State recognized civilian security or law enforcement academy, or an armed forces security/law enforcement training program.
• 2 years' experience in armed security, armed law enforcement, or armed operations within the Armed Forces, civilian police, or commercial security within the past 10 years.
