This role is responsible for maximizing revenue, profit, and market share for multiple hotels by leading revenue management processes and educating hotel leaders. The position involves guiding sales strategy, pricing, and overall inventory management to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Maximize revenue, profit, and market share associated with rooms and function space of assigned hotels
- Partner with General Managers and Sales Leaders to set strategic business mix and pricing strategies based on market conditions
- Educate others and ensure understanding and buy-in of revenue management processes
- Conduct continuous analysis of competitive set, price positioning, seasonality, and mix
- Manage property participation and production through relevant Internet sites and other distribution channels
- Develop monthly room revenue forecast to be accurate within 5%
- Review and analyze online reputation management tools and online marketing analytics
- Perform special projects and participate in task forces and committees as requested
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Revenue Management experience
- Excellent knowledge of transient, group, and catering customer segments
- Excellent understanding of total hotel revenue management concepts, processes, and systems
- Knowledge of advanced revenue management techniques
- Ability to work under pressure and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent mathematical skills
Qualifications
- Four year degree preferred
- 3-5 years of Revenue Management experience required. Multi-property experience preferred.
