The Appraisal Representative will assist regional appraisers by producing high-quality appraisals. This role involves obtaining and analyzing information and documents to create work files for properties, as well as maintaining accurate data.
Responsibilities
- Understand each County Assessor's on-line system for property identification and GIS
- Review and interpret legal descriptions and land measurement units to identify sale or subject properties
- Examine plat books and aerial photographs to locate properties within correct townships and sections
- Evaluate client engagement letters and appraisal requests, recording subject properties in software tools
- Coordinate and collaborate with other business units within Compeer to meet department and organizational needs
- Deliver exceptional service to clients and team members
- Assemble and bind reports for distribution
- Create and organize subject appraisal and sales data work files, compiling necessary documents
- Research courthouse records and digital systems for farm and rural home sales
- Accurately analyze and enter sales data into AgWare DataLog
- Review error reports and correct data elements to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Review appraisal reports for accuracy as requested by appraisers
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Skill in using Microsoft technologies (e-mail, word, spreadsheet processing)
- Proficient in software tools for subject and sale mapping and appraisal process
- Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of client service principles and practices
- Strong mathematical skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
