As an Apartment Leasing Consultant, you will be the primary contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process and ensuring high occupancy rates for client properties. This role involves conducting tours, managing inquiries, and handling administrative tasks while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours for potential residents
- Provide information about leasing options and answer inquiries
- Manage administrative duties related to leasing, applications, and agreements
- Address resident inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
- Work with the team to meet occupancy targets
- Foster positive relationships with residents and prospects
- Process applications, lease agreements, and maintain client records
- Attend community events to promote properties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in multifamily housing leasing
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Proven sales ability to drive leasing efforts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to conduct property tours and highlight features effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to professionally address inquiries and resolve complaints
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail in processing applications and maintaining records
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio)
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to undergo a background check
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in leasing within the multifamily housing sector
