Antler Care Assistant Teaching Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise students in a safe and positive environment for before or after school care, planning and implementing programs that meet their individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned students in designated locations and times
• Plan programs for before and after care meeting individual student needs, interests, and abilities
• Create an environment conducive to student interest and development
• Prepare for enrolled students and provide written evidence of preparation upon request
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of expected behavior
• Employ a variety of activities consistent with physical limitations and student needs
• Address learning diversities of all students regularly and seek district assistance as required
• Adhere to district policy, state, and federal laws
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required
• Attend staff meetings as required
• Organize and administer the program to conform with state law and school building policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality with all school and student information
• Maintain all compliance documents
• Organize all activities
• Assign duties to Antler Care teachers as needed
• Maintain all food service storage and sanitize all equipment and utensils

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Education from an approved accredited college or university with a valid Oklahoma teaching certificate is preferred
