Responsibilities
- Feed and care for all species within the animal facility
- Change soiled cages and bedding
- Clean and sanitize animal pens and rooms
- Operate cage washers and tunnel washers
- Maintain sanitation records
- Remove waste and bedding from animal pans
- Document all cleaning and sanitation practices accurately
- Observe animals daily for health and report any concerns
- Assist with record keeping, inventory, and laundry tasks
Requirements
- Must be 18+ and able to read/write English
- Overtime and weekend work required
Qualifications
- No experience needed, hands-on training provided; 6-12 months animal care or related experience preferred
Nice to Have
- High school diploma
- 6–12 months animal care or related experience
