About This Role

Accommodate hotel guests by greeting, registering, and assigning rooms, while handling confidential information with integrity. Promptly deal with guest requests and complaints, and manage cash drawer transactions during shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
  • Handle confidential information, including guest records, with a high degree of integrity
  • Promptly and effectively deal with guest requests and complaints
  • Answer and route calls as appropriate; take guest messages with accuracy
  • Responsible for cash drawer contents and transactions during shift
  • Maintain accurate records including cash flows, registration cards, reservation cards, and property walks
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and travel directions
  • Assist with sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager
  • Record pertinent guest information in the pass on log
  • Make sure front desk, lobby and common areas are clean and organized

Requirements

  • Availability weekend mornings

Qualifications

  • Less than high school diploma; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 months related experience and/or training
