Airport Ramp Agent

About This Role

As a Ramp Agent, you will primarily be responsible for the unloading and loading of luggage, freight, and cargo on and off commercial aircraft at Denver International Airport. This role involves operating specialized commercial vehicles and ensuring safe and secure operations.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load luggage, freight, and cargo on and off commercial aircraft
• Unload and load luggage, freight, and cargo in the outbound bag room and baggage claim area
• Drive and operate small specialized commercial vehicles
• Lift/move 70lbs of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft
• Transport (Drive) cargo and baggage between aircraft, airport terminals, and air cargo facilities
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage and cargo routing tags
• Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the highest possible standards of health, safety, security, and all government statutory requirements

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Pass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen, FBI background, and employment history
• Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
