This role involves installing preassembled wiring harnesses, hooking up wiring to aircraft equipment and panels, and performing continuity checks on primary installations for aircraft, ensuring high quality and precision in fabrication work.
Responsibilities
- Install preassembled wiring harnesses in conformance to predetermined routing
- Hook up wiring to equipment, panels, relays, and accessories
- Make continuity checks on primary installations
- Route wire on an electrical wiring board using pin and plug process
- Strip, crimp, terminate, and solder wire
Requirements
- Highly skilled and experienced electrical and electronics mechanic
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and wiring harnesses
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to read electrical blueprints
- At least two years of hands-on electrical experience working on aircraft
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Qualifications
- At least two years of hands-on electrical experience working on aircraft
Nice to Have
- Experience with electrical assemblies, wire harnesses, wire bundles, circuit breakers
- Experience routing, wiring, assembling, and installing electrical and electronic components
- Experience as an Electronics/Avionics Technician
- Experience splicing, insulation, tying and installing of plugs and connecting devices
- Familiarity with Integrated Avionics / avionics systems
- Familiarity with Aircraft Electronic devices
- Experience with Avionics/electronics installations
- Familiarity with Electrical and Environmental Systems
- Experience as an Electrical & Electronics Mechanic
- Familiarity with Electro-mechanical instruments
- Familiarity with Communication and Navigation system
