Supported by the Donatech Corporation, this role involves performing stress and loads analysis for primary and secondary aircraft structures and interior items for a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company, including preparing detailed stress analysis reports for aircraft certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structure, equipment racks, and interior items using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques
- Provide stress support for new design projects
- Offer stress support to Liaison Engineering
- Prepare stress analysis reports for aircraft certification
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- Classical Stress Analysis
- Finite Element Analysis Using MSC/NASTRAN and PATRAN
- Analysis of Aircraft Structural Repairs
- Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification
Qualifications
- Minimum of B.S. in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study
- Minimum of 18 years of aircraft structural analysis, with beneficial experience in modification of transport category and general aviation aircraft
