Aerospace Structural Analyst

About This Role

Supported by the Donatech Corporation, this role involves performing stress and loads analysis for primary and secondary aircraft structures and interior items for a Fortune 500 Aero-Defense Company, including preparing detailed stress analysis reports for aircraft certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress and loads analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structure, equipment racks, and interior items using classical analysis methods and finite element techniques
• Provide stress support for new design projects
• Offer stress support to Liaison Engineering
• Prepare stress analysis reports for aircraft certification

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Classical Stress Analysis
• Finite Element Analysis Using MSC/NASTRAN and PATRAN
• Analysis of Aircraft Structural Repairs
• Preparation of Stress Reports for Aircraft Certification

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.S. in Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study
• Minimum of 18 years of aircraft structural analysis, with beneficial experience in modification of transport category and general aviation aircraft
