Aerospace Quality Manager

About This Role

This role involves managing and elevating the Quality Management System at Hytek Finishes Co., a leader in aerospace finishing. The manager will ensure compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, and FAA Repair Station approvals, leading a team to maintain operational excellence in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and responsibilities relating to the maintenance and management of Hytek's Quality Management System (QMS)
• Maintain QMS adherence to AS9100, Nadcap, FAA Repair Station, and OEM approvals
• Establish and modify quality methods and procedures
• Maintain documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of job duties

Requirements

• Experience as a Quality professional
• Lead auditor experience
• Passion for operational excellence in a highly regulated environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset, thinking and acting like an owner
• Skilled in monitoring and assessing performance of self, individuals, and teams
• Comfortable with ambiguity and change, nimble and responsive
• Emotional intelligence to develop trust with leaders and employees
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Experienced Quality professional with lead auditor experience
