About This Role

Serve as an Advisor for Cresa, specializing in occupier-focused real estate in the southeast Michigan market. You will understand client needs and market trends to provide strategic real estate solutions while building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly grasp and understand Cresa’s niche market advantages and convey this differentiation in a compelling manner
  • Demonstrate Cresa’s proprietary technology to secure and advise clientele
  • Learn to discern property attributes – their value and how they can provide positive or negative impacts on the client’s business operation
  • Understand and stay current with market trends, tenant/buyer movement and deal points
  • Prospect for new client relationships
  • Canvass southeast Michigan market for users of office, retail, and industrial real estate who would benefit from Cresa’s services
  • Perform various financial analyses
  • Source comps and maintain comp database
  • Attend industry events
  • Compose market surveys
  • Compose and negotiate RFPs, LOIs, and purchase / sale agreements

Requirements

  • Michigan real estate license
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in successful business development with proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Excellent computer skills and comfortable with internet-based research
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Project a confident and professional appearance and attitude
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a commission-based environment
  • Desire to make occupier-focused real estate a career choice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in successful business development with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
