Advanced Paraplanner

About This Role

The Advanced Paraplanner will report to the Co-Heads of Wealth Planning and support all operational aspects of the firm's wealth planning offering. This role involves researching financial planning regulations, creating white papers, and evaluating third-party software.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the operations behind the wealth planning offering at the Firm
• Stay on top of and research rules, regulations, legislative changes and trends related to financial planning
• Liaise with legal compliance and supervision as needed
• Draft wealth planning related white papers for client and internal distribution
• Review third-party software programs to evaluate their relevance for our Firm
• Support Co-Heads in updating the Firm’s capital market assumptions in eMoney on an annual basis
• Perform research and draft financial planning related articles

Requirements

• CFP® certification
• Minimum seven years’ financial planning experience in private wealth management
• Experience with wealth planning for individuals and complex family relationships
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience supporting high net worth wealth advisors and financial planners
• Experience reviewing wealth plans/analyses
• Strong understanding of trusts and estate planning

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years’ financial planning experience in private wealth management.
