Advanced CNC Manufacturing Technician

About This Role

As an Advanced CNC Manufacturing Technician, you will contribute to restoring American manufacturing strength by shaping complex parts for critical sectors like aerospace, defense, and medical. This role involves operating advanced CNC machinery and ensuring quality control in a modern facility.

Responsibilities

• Set up, fixture, build/select tooling, and run parts on turning centers and on 3- and 5-axis vertical/horizontal mills
• Machine to prescribed tolerances from drawings, BOMs, and work instructions while following safety practices
• Comply with Quality Management System procedures and complete required forms
• Perform inspections, record measurements, and follow the process routing
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and end-of-shift cleanup

Requirements

• Precision CNC background in programming and/or execution across metals, alloys, plastics, and composites
• Ability to read drawings/BOMs and use work aids effectively
• Math and measurement proficiency: algebra, geometry, decimals, fractions, and common metrology tools

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or Associate’s Degree preferred

Nice to Have

• Milling (3-axis, 3+2, 4-axis, Full 5-axis) experience
• Turning (Mill-turn, traditional lathe, swiss lathe) experience
