Adjunct Pool Electronics Instructor

About This Role

Muskegon Community College is seeking qualified Adjunct Instructors to teach electronics courses. This role involves facilitating student learning, curriculum development, and utilizing various instructional delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses, which may include day, night, and online classes at main campus and extension centers
• Establish and promote an effective learning environment that maximizes documented student learning
• Prepare, submit and maintain reports related to student learning
• Grade assignments meaningfully, return graded assignments timely, and assign final grades by institutional deadlines
• Provide educational assistance to students during regularly scheduled office hours or by appointment
• Encourage student opinion survey completion for each class and review results to assist with student success
• Maintain levels of professional knowledge and expertise, including compliance training

Requirements

• Master's Degree in discipline or 18 credits in the specific discipline
• Demonstrated ability to work with various populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in discipline or 18 credits in the specific discipline

Nice to Have

• Teaching experience at the college level
• Experience with instructional technology
