Additive Manufacturing (AM) Technician

About This Role

This role supports daily production using various 3D printing technologies, preparing machines for production, performing post-processing and inspections. It is an excellent opportunity for entry-level or early-career candidates to gain practical experience in additive manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate additive manufacturing equipment (SLA/DLP, SLS/MJF, FDM)
• Prepare machines for production, including startups, calibrations, and material changes
• Read and interpret prints, specifications, and 3D files
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Track production activity using ERP system
• Perform post-processing and finishing of printed parts
• Support routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to meet schedules

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Basic print reading
• Familiarity with 3D printing processes and tools

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in Engineering, Model Making, or related field preferred
• 1+ year additive manufacturing experience preferred; entry-level candidates welcome
