Accounting Data Entry Specialist

About This Role

This role is responsible for accurately and timely processing accounts receivable transactions for all company entities. It also provides support for accounts payable processes and identifies efficiency improvements. This role is crucial for maintaining financial accuracy and supporting the accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate entry of various forms of receivable entries
• Issue Sales Tax corrections when necessary
• Assist with quarterly and annual audits pertaining to receivables
• Assist with invoice entry in accounts payable for multiple companies
• Maintain updated OneNote records as changes occur
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager

Requirements

• High proficiency working with Excel and Word
• Strong keyboarding skills
• Proficient on 10-key
• Strong Microsoft Windows skills
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented

Qualifications

• 2-year business degree (preferably accounting) or equivalent work experience
