Account Executive, Client Services

About This Role

This Account Executive role involves planning and executing sponsorships and activations for a major Home Improvement client across various Atlanta-based sports properties. The position focuses on day-to-day operations, client communications, and ensuring flawless execution of sponsorship assets. This role is for a client services professional with a passion for sports, entertainment, and marketing to manage client programs and activation logistics.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of client’s sponsorship portfolio, including tracking fulfillment of contractual assets
• Support all weekly status calls and other key meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, including agendas and call notes
• Planning and execution of various on-site activities and operations (i.e. catering, security, staffing, shipping, etc.)
• Construct activation plans, sponsorship recaps, and other property-related documents, including budget reconciliation
• Liaise with internal Octagon teams and key client departments and client’s agency partners (advertising, media, online, etc.) for related programming
• Oversee ticket management across all properties
• Regular, ongoing communication with day-to-day clients and program vendors
• Manage relationships with key vendors and partners (e.g. venues, properties, suppliers, etc.)

Requirements

• 1-2 years agency/client service and/or sponsorship marketing experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written
• Ability to balance multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and solve problems effectively and independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekends or holidays

Qualifications

• 1-2 years agency/client service and/or sponsorship marketing experience, ideally in sports, entertainment, or event logistics
