Account Associate - Shared Services

About This Role

This Account Associate role supports the account team by handling daily administrative and customer service tasks, ensuring performance requirements are met with accuracy to avoid errors and omissions. The position focuses on resolving basic client issues and maintaining strong team communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant
• Assist with general office tasks and administration
• Handle policy processing including endorsements, audits, cancellations, and reinstatements
• Identify and reconcile billing inaccuracies, review policy forms, and prepare submissions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in agency systems
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and activities
• Keep the account team informed of workload status and any issues
• Provide proactive and responsive service to clients
• Ensure productivity and quality standards are met
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues and leadership

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communications, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• 3+ years of industry experience
