Account Associate - Shared Services

About This Role

This remote Account Associate role in Shared Services assists the account team with administrative duties, recurring customer service tasks, and ensures production and quality standards are met within the insurance brokerage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant
• Assist with general office tasks and administration
• Handle policy processing including endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy releases
• Process check requests, invoices, finance agreements, summaries, loss runs, MVRs, ID cards, certificates, and binders
• Identify and reconcile billing inaccuracies
• Review policy forms, prepare submissions, online rating, proposals, and AOR letters
• Support new and renewal business workflows
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in agency systems
• Ensure timely completion of tasks and activities
• Provide proactive and responsive service to the account team

Requirements

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Required active licensing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
