This ABA Apprentice role offers aspiring Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) a structured program to gain supervised fieldwork experience and prepare for the BCBA exam. Apprentices will apply clinical skills in real settings and receive mentorship from experienced BCBAs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with indirect supervision tasks for a mini-caseload of learners
- Conduct therapy with clients on assigned BCBAs respective caseload
- Support Board Certified Behavior Analysts and provide staff and caregiver training
- Assist BCBA with parent communication and analyze client data
- Research literature related to client programs
- Oversee implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others
- Complete Monthly Mock Exams
- Follow a tailored BCBA Readiness Plan
Requirements
- Within 6 months of completing a BACB verified Masters/Post Graduate coursework sequence
- Active RBT certification
- At least 60% of BACB supervision requirements completed
- Reliable transportation
