3DExperience Migration Architect

About This Role

This role involves defining and executing data migration strategies from legacy systems to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, focusing on data model alignment, tool selection, and establishing automated pipelines for large-scale migrations. You will also lead migration dry runs and collaborate with various teams to ensure secure and efficient data transfer.

Responsibilities

• Define overall data migration strategy from legacy systems to 3DEXPERIENCE
• Analyze source and target system data models, identify gaps, and ensure schema alignment
• Select and configure migration tools (ETL frameworks, MQL, TCL scripts, APIs, DELMIA Import/Export tools)
• Define staging architecture and plan for data extraction, transformation, validation, and load
• Lead migration dry runs, cutover rehearsals, and final production migration execution
• Establish repeatable, automated pipelines for large-scale, multi-phase migrations
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and database teams for secure and efficient data transfer
• Define rollback strategies, audit checkpoints, and data integrity validation processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Ability to define overall data migration strategy from legacy systems to 3DEXPERIENCE
• Experience with data models, schema alignment, data extraction, transformation, validation, and load
• Proficiency in migration tools like ETL frameworks, MQL, TCL scripts, APIs, or DELMIA Import/Export tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications in PLM, CAD systems, or 3DX tools
