This role is an entry-level part-time management position focused on selling shoes and leading a sales team. The 2nd Assistant Manager will sell products, assist customers, and manage colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and guide them through their shopping experience
- Sell Shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers
- Process sales transactions (cash/credit cards)
- Re-stock the sales floor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store
- Train others on sales and store operations
- Lead the sales team to ensure the best customer experience
- Make bank deposits
- Process incoming freight and set up the sales floor
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal transportation (for bank deposits)
- Want to teach others how to sell and learn people management
- Willing to open/close the store, potentially alone
- Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds
Qualifications
- Some experience in sales and desire to learn people management
