2nd Assistant Manager

About This Role

This role is an entry-level part-time management position focused on selling shoes and leading a sales team. The 2nd Assistant Manager will sell products, assist customers, and manage colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through their shopping experience
• Sell Shoes, apparel, and accessories to customers
• Process sales transactions (cash/credit cards)
• Re-stock the sales floor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store
• Train others on sales and store operations
• Lead the sales team to ensure the best customer experience
• Make bank deposits
• Process incoming freight and set up the sales floor

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Personal transportation (for bank deposits)
• Want to teach others how to sell and learn people management
• Willing to open/close the store, potentially alone
• Willing and able to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Able to kneel, twist, bend, climb a ladder, reach, stoop and lift 25-50 pounds

Qualifications

• Some experience in sales and desire to learn people management
