Step into the experience of working as an associate at Fish & Richardson P.C. through complex client work assignments and training while fostering relationships with fellow summer associates and attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Draft patent applications (patent prosecutions summer associates)
- Conduct research and draft memos for litigation cases (patent litigation summer associates)
- Attend client meetings, depositions, and even trials
- Explore the office's city and experience local culture with attorneys
- Attend the firmwide Summer Associate Retreat for training, networking, and fun
Requirements
- Record of academic and professional excellence in science or technology
- Superior writing ability
- Curiosity and motivation to learn how things work
- Good standing as a law student at an ABA accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of spring 2028
- Enthusiasm and eagerness to rise to the challenge
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Scientific or technical background (degree and/or experience)
Qualifications
- Law student in good standing at an ABA accredited law school, with an anticipated graduation date of spring 2028 (JD Class 2028)
