The 1L Summer Associate Program introduces law students to legal practice and the firm's culture, offering substantive work and development opportunities in a global law firm environment. Summer Associates work across various practice groups, collaborate on pro bono projects, and participate in comprehensive training and networking events.
Responsibilities
- Work on a wide range of practice assignments aligned to interests and Firm needs
- Perform substantive work of the same caliber as the Firm's lawyers
- Collaborate across offices on a signature pro bono project
- Participate in regional trainings and mentorship programs
- Establish working relationships with Summer Associate class members, Partners, and Associates
- Travel to a designated US office for North America Summer Associate Meeting for skills-based training and networking
- Be considered for the Client Scholars Program to work in-house with Firm's clients
